Jacques Brel Is Alive And Well And Living In Paris

The second musical of the 2010 season is a revival of 1970's smash-hit musical revue, JACQUES BREL IS ALIVE AND WELL AND LIVING IN PARIS. This highly anticipated new production of the longest running musical in South African theatre history, opens for a limited 5 week season. With dynamic and sparkling new musical arrangements and a cast of 4 exciting names from the pop and musical theatre world, the show promises to re-awaken the love for Brel's music for the initiated and introduce his exquisite songs to new audiences. The show will include British singer, CHRSSIE CAINE, DAVID CHEVERS and GRAHAM CLARKE.

The revival will be directed by Colin Law with musical staging by Dean Roberts and choreography by Trish McKenna.It will be based on the 2006 Off-Broadway production at the Zipper Theatre with spanking new millennium arrangements orchestrated by Eric Svejcar.
