BloodShot
Young Julius Desiree Sese-Min grows up in the countryside of rural Zamunda, dreaming of helping his people and driving his own Mercedes Benz. Cut to future: Juliuss dream is realised in the form of his landslide victory for the presidency of the newly formed Democratic Republic of Zamunda. The world watches on in delight as the citizens of Zamunda celebrate the realisation of an African Dream. However, President Sese-Min has a dark side, a side darker than Idi Amins backside. In fact, it's very possible that that dark side could hijack his body, and use it in ways that could see the dream deferred. Bold imagery and visually kinetic performance are deftly fused to create a vibrant & compelling physical theatre work that stirs the soul, and moves the bowels.
